万宁桥，又称海子桥、后门桥，始建于元至元二十二年。桥西存有四只镇水兽（上、下各两只），桥东存两只，其中桥东北护岸上的为元代石雕。万宁桥在元大都城的规划和建设中具有特殊作用，对保障元大都城的供给至关重要，是元代大都城内通惠河上游的重要通水孔道，也是研究元代北京漕运的实物 。

Wanning Bridge, also known as Haizi Bridge and Houmen Bridge, was built in the 22nd year of Yuan Dynasty. There are four stone carving beasts (two at the upper and two at the lower) in the west of the bridge, and two in the east of the bridge. Among them, the one on the revetment in the northeast of the bridge is a stone carving of the Yuan Dynasty. Wanning Bridge played a special role in the planning and construction of the capital city of the Yuan Dynasty, and was crucial to ensuring the supply of the capital city of the Yuan Dynasty. It was an important water channel in the upper reaches of the Tonghui River in the capital city of the Yuan Dynasty, and it was also a material object for studying the water transport in Beijing in the Yuan Dynasty.
