亮马河，原名“晾马河”，古代客商经常在河里给马匹洗涮，并让马匹晾干，时间长了，就叫成“亮马河”了。

Liangma River was formerly known as "Horse Drying River". In ancient times, merchants often washed their horses in the river and let them dry. After a long time, it was called "Liangma River".

2023年，亮马河24桥修葺一新，形态各异的24桥与风光旖旎的18处景观形成“国际风情、园林风采、古都风貌、自然风光”四大主题段，向过往的游人“讲述”亮马河的故事，让这条河成为了北京市独特的打卡地。

In 2023, the 24 bridges of Liangma River will be refurbished. The 24 bridges of different shapes and 18 beautiful landscapes will form four thematic sections of "international style, garden style, ancient capital style, and natural scenery", "telling" the story of the Liangma River to the tourists in the past to make this river a unique tourist resort in Beijing.
