The Zhengyi Temple Theatre is a witness of the birth, development and prosperity of traditional (Chinese) opera art. Famous opera masters such as Mei Lanfang and Tan Xinpei had given performances here. With a long history of opera culture and antique theatre buildings, many opera lovers regard this place as a uniquely charming "mystery place in the capital city".
